We lost our friends today. They have friends coming to visit who are full timers and want to stay in Myrtle Beach. (Ocean Lakes)
They want to see MB and will bypass Charleston. Imagine!!

Well our friends that we thought may be coming got the date mixed up and planned another camping trip for that weekend-they just don't know what they will be missing! Oh Tom found out the gift for the 43rd anniversary is "travel" so looks like he won't have to buy me anything! I,however, have no idea where he got his information from so I may have to check behind him!

I don't think so,in our case ( and I think Beaus) these were friends we hoped to get interested in joining our group. As far as I know all who signed up are going. We are going Wednesday as this will probably be our last trip until the National, gotta save our pennies until then!

I believe we have picked up 50KW for James Island. He has noted on the Stone Mountain forum that he is registered, but I have nothing further.
Sure glad he was able to switch.

The projected weather is good, Accu-Weather, if you can believe them, sunny with 80 degree temperatures.

We will arrive Thursday, hoping for about 1:00PM

Hi Doc,
Michael and I stayed at Barnyard RV park in Lexington, SC a couple of
years ago. EZ in and out, pull thru sites. Easily accessible from I26 or
I 20. Hope this helps. See you in a couple of days!

Looks like we will leave Wed around noon or so unless something else happens. Bringing the metal detector. If I can get over to Morris island I want to see if anything remains of the old Confederate earthworks fort that guarded Charleston Harbor entrance during the War of Northern Agression.

We are leaving early Wednesday, stopping for a few minutes at our daughters in Myrtle Beach, not far off of 17 so grandma can get her baby fix! I would say we'll be the welcoming committee but not sure where we will be when everyone arrives,we may be out rambling!
