We are currently at Buckhorn Lake RV Park in Kerrville,Tx. We have travelled 4,800 miles so far. This is the best RV park we have ever been to.
With the exception of Kansas where we left 2 days early, to avoid possible tornados and hail, the weather has been perfect.
The roads and traffic have all been good except for I-95 going north through South Carolina. It was like driving 200 miles of continuous speed bumps.
The only problem with the MH was the fantastic fan's lid broke loose from it's hardware and had to be taped down to keep it closed.
We are looking forward to the rally at Lazy Days.

Tom,
Sounds like an exciting trip so far. Don't worry about the fansastic fan there guaranteed for life I think, so there should be no problem with replacement parts. We won't be staying at Lazydays, but will stop down & see you all Saturday afternoon. See you when you get back.

Tom and Pat,
Glad to hear you've had such a troublefree trip so far and wish you a great trip back to Florida. We're heading for Illinois tomorrow from the Bloomington, IN area and taking the backroads because there is no direct interstate nearby.
So far our fantastic fan is still working but a windstorm the other night has caused the awning to sulk and we have the automatic feature disabled so we can get it to go in and out. We have been through two exciting wind and rainstorms - think you were smart to bail out of Kansas. It sounded like they had really bad weather.
Your campground is where Datastorm has its rally each year. Now I know Larry will be wanting to go to one.
Hope you're having as much fun as we are - this trip was a good idea.

Mike, Colleen and Roxie,
It would be great to see you guys again. I heard there is a nice Yogi Bear campground in Portage, IN. Seriously, we are currently in Herrin, IL until the 10th, then we head north to the Kankakee area until the 14th, then over to the Yogi Bear campground in Plymouth, IN until the 29th. If you will be in any of those areas, it would be great to meet up again. After leaving Plymouth, we head into Michigan, eventually to the upper peninsula, then over to Wisconsin and Minnesota.
Let us know if any of that fits with your schedule, if not give us your schedule, maybe later in the trip we can find one another.
