Need a place to park RV near Martinsville for a week.

My beloved and I plan to visit Washington, DC from May 22 through May 30 and need a place to leave the RV for that period. We full-time and will driving up I-81. We don't want to drive the rig into DC (obviously) and don't even want the car in DC, so we want to leave them in Martinsville, WV and catch the Amtrak into DC for a week at a hotel.

We drive a 40' Class A Pacifica with a Honda Odyssey toad.

Is there a place within taxi distance of the Amtrak terminal in Martinsville, WV where we can leave it for that week? I wouldn't want to leave it in the parking lot that long even if they would allow us.

[An extra bonus would be a place we could plug it in so we don't have to empty the refrigerator of perishables.]

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello to the Frantz's! You finally got out of Louisiana I see!

Can't answer you question as we've never made it that far away for the west coast yet.

We are members.
Anywhere near a train or metro stop would work.

Cherry hill park in college park md. it is on the dc bus route that stops at entrance. ride bus to subway to anywhere in DC. we stayed there 2 weeks ago. loved it. probably less expensive than hotel and rv storage.
