Tailgating in Happy Valley (PSU vs Alabama)
Anyone plan on tailgating @ Penn State this coming weekend for the Alabama game?
We will be staying in the overnight RV lot.

We should be in the same lot. We were close to the AG buildings this past weekend.
We will be in a black & white Bounder Classic motorhome if you're walking around.

I getting paid to drive someone else MH to game, they like to drink, and I do not. We set up very close to game.on the main drive into game. So I make $$$ and get all the food I can eat.

We'll be there in the blue RV lot entrance on Porter rd. We'll be close to road. '96 Winnie Adventurer w/inflatable Lion in front of setup.

Were you there this past weekend? My kids loved the inflatable lion... (I just can't remember if it was in front of a Winnie.

We were but I did not have the lion out, I just checked gopsusports site and they are closing some of the grass lots on the west side of the stadium because of the rain.Check it out, it will be updated again tommrow. www.gopsusports

Thanks for the heads up. Looks like the overnight lot is still open. We are contemplating a run up tomorrow afternoon/evening to stage the RV and then come back on Friday afternoon.

Penn State just announced that major changes in parking will be announced Friday AM...the grass lots are like lakes...I know because I live in State College 1.5 miles from the stadium and have seen the mess.
Fortunately the weather will be improving starting tonight (Thursday).
Lots of luck guys.
My HD TV gives me a nice dry, comfortable seat !!

Ah come on there is nothing like being there. This is my 32nd year and only missed 4 home games. Flytyer maybe we can hook up this spring I'm a flyfisher also. We have a stick shack out in Potters Mills.

I think we will be staying in Mechanicsburg. We packed up most of the contents of our business today as the flooding river will at least meet the building and possibly make its way inside.
The only hopes of the RV seeing PSU this weekend would be a miracle that the river goes no higher and all my employees show up to unpack. Neither look probable so the big screen looks to be in order.
I even ordered new PSU flags too...

What a mess!! I'm in traffic now if you are heading to PSU from the S/E take the N/E ext. To 80 w rt. 322 is closed just before Dauphin (at statue of Liberty)
