That flag is onthe front of Joe and Colette's Travel Supreme,so I'll let them come along and fill you in....
Glad I got back home when I did, as they're predicting some pretty good boomers this evening.

All that were at Walnut Hills - thanks a whole bunch - Barbara and I really had a great time that will be remembered for a long time. We met some really super nice people and feel like we made some good friends there. We are really hoping to meet up with them again on the road.
Again - thanks to everyone for making it a great weekend to remember.

We made it home safe and sound, arriving in the middle of a thunder boomer. 8/10 inch of rain in the rain gauge since we left Friday morning, sure glad it didn't rain like that at Walnut Hills.
After I put my spare tire on the trailer this morning at the campground, we had no more problems getting home. Apparently something happened to the inside of that particular tire because it appeared to have let loose from the inside out.
We're really glad we discovered the problem at the CG before we left, would have been a real pain to fix alongside a highway. I think I would have just let my GS ERS handle it if it were along the highway.
Anyway, we too had a great time this weekend and was delighted to meet so many great people. A great big thanks to our wagon master, Bob, who planned and organized this event for us. He did a great job and I'm looking forward to the next one.
Maybe next time we'll have someone else sign up to bring donuts?

We'd like to add our thanks to everyone for the great weekend. Bob hope you get your electrical problems fixed - we had problem getting the front A/C to run off the generator on the way down - put it up on the web and someone mentioned the circuit breakers on the generator. Bingo - the one that feeds the front A/C had tripped (didn't even know there were circuit breakers on the generator) - from Brenda and I thanks for everything - Bear is still sleeping - think we wore him out this weekend. Great job Bob - no body eats donuts when camping anyway - that's what cooking over the fire is for. Anyone wanting to do a rally that is between the PA and the Norfolk crowd let us know - lots of opportunities close by.

We got home by noon..what a beautiful day to travel! Thanks to Bob and everyone for a great time. Met some great folks and enjoyed the fellowship and food. Our Bear enjoyed finding a new friend in Bill and Brenda's Little Bear.
Hope you all have safe and happy travels and we hope to see you guys again.

We got home, after stopping to top off the tank, around 2:00. Had a great trip home, with little traffic. Bob, Phil and I had a wonderful time and we hope to meet up with everyone again. I am still "unloading" the coach and doing laundry so we can get ready for our next trip!
Don't let the "doughnuts" get you down....none of us really needed them if the truth be known. Now if you had said you were going to bring steak and forgot, that would be a different story.
Bob, I hope you get your electrical issues resolved soon. Thanks again for a great weekend and including us in the fun.

While this thread is still up,would anyone that had any idea their voltage was low, please either post it here or PM me?
I am going to take the coach to the dealer and I think they'll have to handle the Ge warranty claim, but the more I have thought about it I am going to write a letter to Walnut Hills and mention it to them,as well the low water pressure and especially the tree situation....While I was obviously able to make it up with the toad,I think they need to remove three or four trees along those roads...
I WILL not go there after July 1st,if those trees are still there and I would not support a rally there until they improve those issues....
Water pressure was terrible!!
Boy the sausage biscuits hit the spot!!

Yea, you are so right about the trees. We watched you leave, and knew we could make it too. Although, leaving was not as "scary" as coming in. I didn't want to complain about the water pressure, after all we ARE camping...right? But we finally filled our holding tanks...took forever...and turned off the water at the hose and used the pump.

I was more worried about creasing that 2001 Duramax....there was a garbage bag directly across from their site and I'd have had an easier swing if I had gotten out and moved it,but saw I could make it so just kept going...

Hi All, we got in about 7pm,lunch took to long and then we had to take a snooze Hit a lot of rain. Thanks Bob for a great time.
We look forward to seeing you at the FMCA rally.
We realy enjoyed meeting all of you.
Regarding the twirly flags, we got them at a FMCA rally in 2002, Kept hitting our head on the mirrors and use the flags to decorate and save the noggin I have not seen any sence then.

Thanks Collette and Joe. I will have to do a search and see what I can find. I didn't realize that the flags were the size to hang from a mirror. They look much larger in that picture. They kind of reminded me of the pull up christmas trees.
