This white stuff is getting old. Snow tonight and another storm forming for Monday. Come on spring. I'm ready to drain the pink stuff out of the camper, put new line on the fishing reels and go to the driving range to loosen up. AAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!!

This one is going to slide under us, good already got 6-8 inches this week.
Tom, try this. It's not the range but will keep you going for 20 – 30 minutes, my high is 5 in a row.

and it beats shoveling.

Thanks Mike, I can see I still need practice. Have you ever been to one of the virtual golf ranges? It's not the same but it helps break up the winter.

No, but there's a link after you putt that takes you to a site where you can play on line, never tried it either, maybe Saturday.

Frankie, I know you are already all limbered up and in fine shape, so here's one for you

It's a fair break from the winter weather. You use your own clubs and use a full swing into a screen that's about 8 feet in front of you. From there the computer simulates the rest of the flight. It takes about four hours for a foursome to play 18 holes and cost about $20 each.

Hi Guy's

I've OFFICIALLY had it with snow this year. Frankie we didn't miss this one down here in Beverly but it wasn't all that bad we got about 6 inches of fluffy light snow. Monday's predicted storm is still an unknown at this point. Mike I know you and Lyn typically get way more snow than we do but we've had about 70 75 inches of snow this year and that's a lot for us. Oh Well I guess that's enough b****ing and complaining about the weather, I'm with Tom bring on the spring. I sure hope I get to fish a little more this year than I did last year. I'm not really a golf fan but this snow may "drive" me to try it "again". Ken

Ken, we have only had 98"so far this year but the lake effect has already started from the winds circulating around your storm, should have 3/4 more by tomorrow. Like Yogi said, "It's not over till it's over" but it could hurry up.
Tom, now that you describe it, I did do that several years ago. We now have an indoor domed driving range long and high enough to hit a 5 iron, the longer clubs can be hit off the mat at the other end, good enough to get an idea of flight. I'll wait another couple months, no sense burning out or peaking to early.
Hang in there, we'll be at Normandy Farms be we know it.

We picked up about 8 inches from this one. Just finished plowing the driveway and making room for what's to come on Monday. This should make us really appreciate those warm humid 45 degree days.

Thats because you're looking out the wrong side of the bus. Look to the north side, you can't miss it.

Although it's not looking too nice when we come home on Monday. Kids are already hoping we get to stay another night.

Okay Doris, it might be warm, but just because there are people in bathing suits doesn't mean it a pleasant view...........
