If I recall previous discussions correctly the primary reason for Columbus Day weekend was to accommodate parents and the kids who have the three-day weekend.
Please comment on your druthers and we will plan accordingly

Not only for the kids, but for people that have a long drive. One rally in Penn , Karen and I drove 8 Hours each way for a 2 day weekend.Dont mind driving ,just would have liked more than one day to relax. If you cant get the 3 day weekend chances are I would pull the kids out of school one day,Prefer not to but will. They used up all thier snow day this past week,so we may be late for the national, they were supposed to get out the fri. before the rally,oh well!!

Frankie,
Last fall our granddaughter's teachers gave her an extra day off, 4-day weekend, all she had to do is demonstrate that a portion of the trip was educational. Her trip to the original NY State capitol and report about it did the trick.
During our preliminary planning Lynda and I came up with the following educational venues with in 30 – 40 minutes of the Villages that may get the boys an added day.

Mike,
This is your show, so you pick the dates that will work best. Those who can make it will. It is very hard to accomodate everyone, do the best you can. If you need anything let me know, by the way how's that New Ford?? Get a hold of me lzapka@hvc.rr.com

Mike, I sent you a private message through IRV2. The Yahoo address just comes back saying no such address. Sometimes AOL and Yahoo don't get along. Let me know if you got that one. Thanks.
