Hope everyone is up for a spirited game of Pumpkin Bowling, a game for kids of all ages, adults (of all ages), and spectators.
How it works, I'll make the ghosts/pins, which are made from plastic soda bottles, each bottle contains some sand to help stabilize them, they're painted white, black marker is used to outline a ghost's face.
Pumpkin Bowling - How to Set Up and Play:
What you need:
- One or two small round pumpkins (everyone brings there own), under 8" in diameter
- Knife to cut pumpkin (Kids: Get adult help with the knife!)
What you need to do:
- Take a pumpkin cutting knife and cut three finger-size holes in the usual bowling ball pattern. (Thumb, index finger and middle finger should fit in the holes.)
Dressing the Part (optional):
Pumpkin Bowling is even more fun when done while wearing silly hats and/or costume.
How to play:
- Place the ghost soda bottle "pins" at one end of the bowling alley.
- Take turns bowling with pumpkins.
- - Adults and "kids" over 19 bowl from 20 feet away and play 3 frames
- - teenagers 15 bowl from 15 feet away
- - Kids 12 and younger closer (Might have to tweak the under 12 kid's age limits a bit...)
- Each ghost / pin knocked down is one point.
- - Adults if there's a tie score after 3 frames, there's a play off til there's a clear winner
- - Kids 12 and younger are all winners
Sign-Up:
While there's no advance sign up required, I do need a list of Kids 12 and younger, that are playing, so I know how many prizes to bring.

It does sound like fun. I vote for a costume contest for kids and adults. Don't have to if you don't want to.

I've been looking at party games on the net and found this one that might be fun to do as teams.
"Mummy Wrap" Teams see who is the fastest at wrapping one member up in toilet paper."
I also think that "Pin the Nose on the Witch" in teams might be fun too. The team would direct the "pinner as to what direction to go in.
Also we could play word games in teams.
Or maybe one of our famous story tellers could tell ghost stories around the campfire.
I know some of these games won't appeal to everyone but whatever is chosen for a game, not everyone has to participate.

Just thought we'd bump this up in case anyone who's coming hasn't seen it!

Hey, your mil was "parked" right next to us, and we went to her ship, but we couldn't get past security. I asked someone if they would go on and call her room (I had her name with me), but they acted like I was suspicious or something.
