Here it is Dec.1st, and it is time to start readying the MH fo our annual sojurn south on the 27th of Dec. Our fuel tank is full, LOF completed, new rear shocks and other new and replaced accessories. I have laid out our first lap which will be 185 miles down 13 on the DelMarVa peninsula and lay over in Westover Md, or we may go direct to the Naval Amphib Base at Little Creek Va. We have two weeks to get to Kings Bay Ga. so it will be a meandering slooooow trip. We will probably adhere to the 2+2+2 principle, 200 miles per day, pull into a CG by 2PM and stay for 2 days.....

Hi All,

Hey Bud & Ruth safe travels, and hope to hook up with you guys somewhere, even if it's just for a meal someplace in Fl! I also very much like that 2+2+2 deal!! So since this will be my first time out since retirement, I will try and stick to that, instead of the tight hurry up & get there way we did it when I was working LOL!! However due to helping out a friend it looks like I will not leave until Jan 2 or so, but that is still ok since first reservation in FL is not until Jan 17 !! Looking forward to being a snowbird !!!

Capt.,

We are all but set to hookup. Normally we start out today the first for a two-week trip using a 4x2x2 guideline. However we are being delayed this year because I have to get bore scoped Thursday and they want a 48 hour period to assure no lands and grooves where harmed.

With luck we'll get some Indian Summer and be on our way next Saturday, got 3" of the white stuff overnight and I don't pull through the Pa. Mountains or anywhere else in these conditions.

See ya down there.

Our trip this years was canceled. Looking forward to Florida next year. We recently relocated and the wifes hip diagnosed as Bursitis turned out to be broken and she is now recovering from hip surgery. Have a safe trip all and enjoy the warmth.

MH is in the shop getting ready for the trip to Fla. New shocks, removing the couch and putting in 2 new recliners, checking the roof. We will leave a day or 2 after x-mas, be back in April. We will be near Ocala, in Brooksviile. Hope the old girl is up for the trip. Looking to sell the tt while in Fla or will have it towed home.
