Find a Florida driver. Since our license is good anywhere we can do it. Just kind of laughing out loud because I had the same problem in Calif. Couldn't even get them to figure out what written test/s to give me for a non commercial class B.
One was needed for RV's over 40 feet. But you could drive a shorter one and tow up to 65 feet. At least I think I remember that.
And no one in the DMV system could definitively tell me how they measure an RV. Don't get me started on bumpers, mirrors and such. I ultimately was told to write to the big honchos in Sacramento. At that point I was leaving Ca so just got my license in Fl and can go back to Ca now with this license.
So check with a local RV repair/sales facility. They often have folks that transport RV's for shows etc.
