Let me help a little if I may....
HERE is the link to the discussion in the Southeast Region where we've created a "hidden" Regional forum for the Florida Boomers...
The "regional camping group" idea was borne out of an idea that Bill Rowell(warpath) and I talked about, when we started consolidating the regions.
Bill came up with the idea of a hidden forum being made up for regional groups....We were initially trying to accomodate the Florida Boomers, but the idea arose where we could even do more...
Inasmuch as we are still wanting to keep the main forum topic listings toned down, we will simply have a listing titled something like "Regional Camping Groups" and when you click on that link, the list would populate to read the group names.....Florida Boomers, Nor'easters, Pond Piggies....etc.
This is the site Bill made for the Florida Boomers....the Nor'easters would be similar...
http://www.irv2.com/floridaboomers/
Keep in touch with Captain Bud and work out whether this is something you folks would be interested in...

I like it. Is it just the Moderators and Administration that has access to control panel ? Or would each group be able to change things on the page. I think its going to be a handy way to post pics and rally happenings.Great job Mr. Rebels beach and Warpath.

Since we camp with all of the northeast, and that is our group (unlike Florida, that is a big state and likes having their own area), do we even need something like this? Couldn't we put a picture on our "main" page now, if we wanted to? Unless we now had a group for NY, NJ, Mass, etc, I'm not sure something like this would be needed. If I want to send someone to one of our posted rally's, I'm not sure I could easily explain it to them, how to get to the area. Maybe I'm missing something?

Doris let's see if I can explain it, We are (Noreasters) a group within the Northeast Region. Now if you wanted to vector someone into a rally that we were having, they would go into the Northeast region and then go to the Noreaster,s group. For instance if the people in NJ wanted to start a sub group that would get together more frequently than the Noreasters do, we could have a group called the Sopranos or the Joisey boys. Now we are not planning to do anything like that, but I just use that as an example. I know this is a convoluted explainantion, but it is the best I can do...LOL

Doris, without trying to be too convoluted....
Down at the bottom of the main forum page where the regions are listed,we will simply add a "Regional Camping Group" topic line...
AFTER selecting that line, you would THEN see the listing of all the various groups.
YOU COULD ALWAYS do one of two things....
1) Simply send someone the link address to your page, when you email a get together announcement...
2) Get everyone to save your groups particular location in their favorites...
WE WILL NOT be adding more than one line to "locate" these pages as that defeats the consolidation process we've just embarked on...

Gee Frankie
I thought it would be Vector that you would have the trouble with.
vec·tor [ véktÉ™r ]
noun (plural vec·tors)
Definition:
1. mathematics quantity with direction and magnitude: a quantity that has both direction and magnitude, e.g. force or velocity, usually represented by an arrow
2. mathematics item in set of vectors: an element of a vector space
3. aviation course of aircraft: the course taken by an aircraft or a missile
4. biology disease-transmitting organism: an organism such as a mosquito or tick that transmits disease-causing microorganisms from an infected person or animal to another
5. genetics gene transfer agent: an agent such as a plasmid or bacteriophage that is used in genetic modification to transfer a segment of foreign DNA into a bacterium or other cell. The foreign DNA is spliced into the vector's DNA, which contains the genes necessary for switching on replication and transcription of the foreign DNA in its new setting.
6. comput computer array: in computing, an array of any length, but only one dimension
transitive verb (past and past participle vec·tored, present participle vec·tor·ing, 3rd person present singular vec·tors)
Definition:
1. direct aircraft by radio: to direct an aircraft or pilot by radio, often from the ground
2. change thrust direction of aircraft engine: to change the direction of the thrust of an aircraft engine as a means of steering the aircraft
[Early 18th century. < Latin, "carrier" < vectus, past participle of vehere "carry"]
vec·to·ri·al [ vek táwree É™l ] adjective
vec·to·ri·al·ly [ vek táwree É™lee ] adverb
