Registration & emission in CT

Buying a used unit in Florida and live in CT.
How do I go about getting that all done? Does it need to be inspected? Emissions? 7.75% luxury tax?

Are you buying it from a dealer or an individual?

"Was" going to buy from a dealer, which I've learned would have given us a temporary 30 day tag.
BUT, when we called today to give a deposit we learned it wad sold yesterday.

Also, would like to NOT register it in CT, the tax state!

So the search continues. Anyone know of a clean 2015/2016 Newmar Canyon Star 3921 for sale?

Sorry to hear they sold it before you could get there. I'm sure you will find another one that is probably better.

States are cracking down on vehicles registered out of state to avoid taxes.

We found the best way to avoid taxes in CT. Was to move to North Carolina. Taxes on our motorhome dropped from $1500 to $112. Good bye D. Malloy.

Being from CT. I give you guys a lot of credit for moving out of this Heavily tax burdened state.
I few more years (due to business commitments) and me and DW will be doing the same thing.
