We are looking into Rick getting off for Friday or it's too long a trip for weekend. We are also checking if Traci can get a break from UCF to come with us since that's her birthday, but it's end of semester.

My hopes to possibly go to Myrtle Beach alone have been dashed by recipe development job must do at home that week. I have to pay for this rig.

Looks like Lakeview Plantation will try to keep us together as a group. Assuming services may be grouped should we be asking for a 30 or 50 amp site? Makes no difference to us, just need to know.

I did 50amp. I sent a check for $33 deposit for 3 days which is the Good Sams or 5 rig rate.

The slightly depraved looking cooter at right is the mascot for the South Carolina Cooterfest. Our Scooter Cooter is a much classier character!

Just a reminder that this event is only a little over a month away. Still time to make reservations. We all had fun last fall at the Inverness Cooterfest. This should be just as much fun. Check out Jim and MJ's first post on this thread for all the details!

Rick doesn't have days left to take off from work, and I've got work scheduled the week of Myrtle Beach. Bummer!

Still have to work to pay for the rig. But, we're looking at Dec. '09 for some sort of "retirement" when we can start to collect on 401K money. It can't come soon enough.

We're ready for Cooterfest. Just got back from our Soggy Bottom / Hillsborough SP / St. Pete travels.

Our current thinking is to head over to Myrtle Beach after Cooterfest for a couple of days instead of heading up I-77 & I-81. Probably won't stay at Myrtle Beach SP but at Ocean Lakes or KOA. Hope the Fuddruckers are still in MB. Gotta get my burger fix before heading further north.

All of us have arrived at the Myrtle Beach state park. We enjoyed the burgers at Fuddruckers which Rick said he was buying.

Dave has pictures of the Cooterfest so you can see all that you missed.
