Zyrtle,
Sounds like a great road trip. Get there a day or two before and then head up to Myrtle Beach for a week.
Count me in- When do we want to start making reservations. Sir Ertle are you up for a road trip of this caliber?

As of now we are planning on being in Myrtle Beach in the spring so we would be able to meet you.

Also there is James Island County Park if you wanted to do Charleston for a day or so. The park is real nice.

ROAD TRIP TO COOTER FESTIVAL
This sounds like a must attend event. I think we need to get a Florida Cooter and start training him to race and go up and kick some serious turtle butt.

Grand prize is $1000 YES thousand dollars and heat races are $100. If we brought a Florida Cooter and won we probably would not get out of town in one piece.

Marty is thinking more about the Keys in June, so we probably won't be able to make the SC trip too.

Lady Eyrtle Cheryl told Sir Eyrtle Rick that we ARE going to the May Cooter Festival.

It's the South end of SC, so we should be able to do it as a long weekend. He hopes he'll have sick/personal days left to take. I told him he'll just have to stay healthy over the winter. We can't miss a Cooter Festival, especially one with a big $$ prize.

Our only Cooter Kid Traci has her birthday that weekend, but she can go along since she's always been into all things Turtle.
