I'm back in Palm Bay Fl

Hi everyone. I am John and my wife is Connie. We are not new to the forum but we haven't been active for 11 years We use to own a 1998 Winnebago Adventurer and I loved talking on the forums sharing experiences with others.

We got away from the forums when we rented a permanent site. This was a very good alternate for us due to our busy lifestyle. It was nice to be able to pack a bag every Friday and dive to the campground and spend the weekend.

I recently retired, again and we decided to move to Florida mostly for health reasons. We have been here for a sew months and getting itchy. Time to look around for a camper.

We found a really nice, well maintained 2007 forest-River-Forester-2861. We bought it from a very nice young man who is putting money to buy a house. Good for him and good for us. We will take delivery sometime next week.

We will be looking forward to interacting on the forums and looking for good advice from all. Til our next post, have a great day and we will be talking soon.

Friends in the neighborhood!

John and Connie,
I’m Larry, my wife Colleen and I have friends in Palm Bay. We’re still in East China Mi. We will be coming down to stay with our friends for a little while, hopefully, this winter. They’re in Southeast Palm Bay. We’re considering getting a class A motorhome. If you’re available when we come down, maybe we could meet up and talk about rv-ing? We were boaters (39’ Searay) we live on the St Clair River facing Canada. We have a Cabin in Mio Michigan and are considering selling the East China place and summer in Mio and maybe travel in the motorhome in the winter. I’m a retired firefighter and my wife is a nurse. My wife isn’t completely convinced about an RV. The operating costs and all. (I remember just under a mile to the gallon and gas prices at about $3.75/gal with the Searay) 8-10 mpg sounds like a bargain! So if we make it to Palm Bay this year, maybe i’ll send a PM on this site to try and make contact with you and see if you’re busy!
Thanks,
Larry and Colleen in freezing in East China MI
