Seeking RV / Winter lots/CGs for winter retirement

Hi folks,
My hub and I are looking to be in Venice, Sarasota, or the Central West Coast , Fl. area for partial winters. We are thinking about renting, lot purchase, possible purchase of an RV, or Manufactured to place on a lot and store when we are not there, or to rent out,

We have a seasonal site in upstate NY, and we have a new Lance camper for fun weekend short trip travel. We may consider a non corporate, family owned smaller campground along the coast. We are open to ideas. If anyone resides at nice, over 55 communities or parks in the West Coast , Fl. we would be greatful for info. Thanks!!!
