Please add Leon and Anita Kirby to the attendee list. They are going to make it after all! I called the park and reserved their site.

Dates: Thursday the 29th to Sunday the 1st...maybe extend to Monday.

Sandy

Google maps show Colvin Ranch Road EAST. Is that correct?

David, yes that is correct. The park is actually 9 miles from Kerrville in a very small town called Center Point, I believe. But they have a Kerrville address.

My Google Maps shows Clovin Ranch Rd intersecting with Hwy 27 in two different places. THIS IS INCORRECT, these intersections no longer exist.

I have stayed in the park several times and the best way to get there is to set your GPS to the intersection of Hwy 27 and Sutherland Ln. Hill Country Septic Services and Porta Potty Company is at that intersection. Don't try and set it to the park address, no telling where you will end up. When you get to that intersection, turn onto Sutherland Ln and go till it "dead ends". Turn right at the dead end, it is a sharp right turn, so go wide. The park is about a mile up the road. You will see the large rock entrance on your right and I think there are flag poles there too.

TThe following email was sent out to all the attendees that I have addresses for: MISSING Montieths, Derringers and Rick Thompsons.

George Speir has been to the park several times and recently posted this information on iRV2.com regarding directions to get there. Please take note and decide on your route to the park. If you need more directions or help, please contact George at gspeir@360west.com or call him at 512-496-8066. If he doesn't answer, leave a voice mail and he will call you back as soon as he can.

DIRECTIONS TO OLD RIVER ROAD RV RESORT - Center Point, Texas (Kerrville area)

The correct address for the park is 310 Colvin Ranch Road EAST. DO NOT SET YOUR NAV SYSTEM TO THE PARK ADDRESS! Google Maps show Colvin Ranch Road East intersects with Hwy 27 in two different places. This is incorrect as those intersections no longer exist, in fact, "Colvin Ranch Road" except for maybe a tenth of a mile no longer exists but is still on the maps.

The best way to get there is to set your GPS to the intersection of Hwy 27 and Sutherland Lane, Center Point, Tx.

Hill Country Septic Services and Porta Potty Company is at that intersection. Turn onto Sutherland Lane and continue until it dead ends. Turn right – a sharp right turn, so go wide!

The park is about a mile up the road on the right with a large rock entrance.

FROM I-10 EAST – coming from San Antonio

Take the HWY 27 exit at Comfort and continue through Center Point

Turn left on Sutherland Ln and continue until it dead ends.

Turn right at the dead end and continue to the park entrance on the right

FROM I-10 WEST – coming from Junction

Take the Hwy 16 exit at Kerrville – right onto Hwy 16

Left on Hwy 534 – Veterans Highway
Left on Hwy 27 to Sutherland Road (past the airport)
Right on Sutherland Ln and continue until it dead ends
Right at the dead end - the park is about a mile down the road on the right.
