Cassie Mae Davidson, beloved mother, sister, aunt, friend, wife, departed this life March 12, 2020, at the age of 70 years, 9 months and 1 day.
Cassie was born May 11, 1949, in Ada to Gentry "GP" and Gladys Hatton. Cassie was the sixth and last child of GP and Gladys - the baby.
Cassie graduated from Stonewall High School as the valedictorian in May 1967.

She was never heard saying a harsh word to or about anyone. She LOVED fully. She loved to travel, and she LOVED her family and had a full career.

In Ada, she worked for Evergreen. In Huntsville, Texas, she worked at the prison in education and then was self-employed in varying capacities.
After moving to Texas, Cassie married Karl Davidson.

Cassie is survived by her two loving children and five loving grandchildren, DE't Hoover and husband, Greg, and their children Celeste, Ben and Paige all of Katy, Texas; and Warren and his wife, Christy, and their children, Ashton and Ansley of New Waverly, Texas.

She is survived by siblings Eva Lou Heffington and husband, Wendyl, of Van Buren, Arkansas, George Ann Jarman and husband, Ron, of Purcell, Glendel Hatton and wife, Paula, of Ada, and Bobbie Culp and husband, Larry, of Cleburne, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Karl Davidson.
She is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews, Kelli, Randall, Shelly, David, Greg, Lisa, Kim, Jenny, Kerri and Michael.

Preceding her in death were her parents, GP and Gladys Hatton, and brother, Jerry. Also preceding her in death was Don McGalliard, the father of her children.

Memorial service to celebrate Cassie's life will be rescheduled to a later date due to the coronavirus.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a contribution to the charity of your choice in Cassie's name.
