Christmas Rally 2019 Activities and Meals Signup

Planned Meals and Activities for the 2019 Christmas Rally

Please bring your own tableware to each meal and beverage of choice.
For the pot luck meals please bring enough to share with 6 - 8 people.

Note that we will be bringing toys for tots this year instead of having a gift exchange.

Also we will have our annual Christmas donation drive for our sponsored DAV chapter.
Cash or check donations are requested this year instead of gift cards.
The money collected will be presented immediately after the rally to
Helotes Chapter 114 DAV, for veterans and veterans families holiday outreach.

Thursday Dec 5th

1 PM -
All hands on deck the rally hall
Set up and decorate the rally hall

6 PM -
Early Arrivals Soup Kitchen
Bring a pot of soup, a salad, or a dessert to share
Campfar at Site 51 with outdoor bar and music - bring your chair.

Friday Dec 6th

6 PM -
Finger Food Pot Luck Smorgasbord
Bring samwiches, chips and dips, snack food, salads or desserts to share
Meet and greet - Introduce Newbies

8 PM -
Ugly sweater contest with prizes awarded to winners.
Wear the ugliest one you got. Enter as an individual or as a couple.

Saturday Dec 7th

9 AM -
Pancake and sausage breakfast - Provided by the Club

10 AM -
Toys for tots presentation to Montgomery, TX Fire Department
(in lieu of a gift exchange)
Each person please bring at least 1 (more if you want) unwrapped toy
(suggest $10 value or more)

1 PM -
Christmas Crafting with Pat and Amber.
Come make a beautiful Christmas decoration for yourself.
All supplies will be furnished with the cost prorated (estimated around $5).

6 PM -
Texas Christmas Feast - Smoked brisket and baked ham provided
Bring sides to complete this Texas Christmas feast

8 PM -
12 Days of Christmas playing card bingo - Winners receive Christmas gifts

Sunday Dec 8th

8:30 AM -
Coffee and pastries in the rally hall- Provided by the club
Reason for The Season Christmas Devotional - Duke Thompson
Good Byes

6 PM -
Leftover dinner for those staying over
Rally hall clean up and restore
