Dog Days Of Summer 4th of July Flamingle
July 2nd - 6th
Texan RV Park - Athens, TX
We have contacted the RV park management and have been given approval
to have our Flamingle there as planned but limited to the 25 sites we have reserved.
The rally rate is Back In's - $35 & Pull thru's - $40 per night per site.
While we do welcome newcomers, priorty for available sites will
go to Texas Boomers members first.
To make your site reservation, please call 903-677-3326
and then post here your name, arrival and departure dates.
To celebrate the Dog Days Of Summer
we are asking everyone to bring a bag of dry dog food
which we will collect and donate to a local rescue shelter.
This is a Flamingle not a rally so we have no planned activities
other than a few group meals.
Meal Schedule (No meal signup):
Thu night - Jul 2nd - 6 PM
Finger Food pot luck - sandwiches, chips & dips, desserts, etc.
Fri night, July 3rd - 6 PM
Hot dogs and all the fixin's will be provided.
Sat morning, July 4th - 9 AM
Pot luck breakfast - bring a breakfast dish to share.
Sat night, July 4th - 6 PM
Pot luck supper - bring a supper dish to share.
Dark - Shoot off your own fireworks over the pond.
Sun morning, July 5th - 9 AM
Coffee and donuts will be provided.
Sun night, July 5th - 6 PM

Don Yes I called the park but they tried to charge me $40 for a pull through sight when nothing was mentioned about different prices for back in vs pull though so I am waiting on a call back to see what price they are going to charge me for a pull through site from July 2 to 6th

Bruce I have a back in site and they charged me $35 so I assumed that was the rally rate for all sites. Probably a mistake on my part. let me know what you find out.

All is well I book site 122 back in for $35 thanks for changing the rates for others booking. Looking forward seeing everyone on the 2nd safe travels. Anyone want to play some Pickleball while there?

Back in sites for rally are $35. Pull thur sites are $40, which is the rally rate for a pull thur. That is what I was told when I made reservations. All sites are not equally priced.
