RALLY RECIPES

It has been suggested to open a new thread for posting the recipes of delish foods brought to the various rallies...we have some awesome cooks and your contributions are welcomed!!!

The first to start this new ongoing thread is

Karen Pacior's Raspberry Dessert

3 small boxes raspberry jello,
(get black raspberry if you can find it, but I usually can't)
3 Cups boiling water
1 Can crushed pineapple (large can)
1 Can blueberry pie filling

Dissolve Jello in boiling water, then add pineapple and pie filling. Chill until set.

1 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
1 8 oz Sour Cream
1/2 Cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Beat together and spread on top of Jello, add pecan or walnut pieces.

Note: To make more "weight watcher friendly", you can use sugar free and/or fat free ingredients to make the recipe as well as substitute Splenda (or the like) instead of the sugar.

Great idea Madame Boomer. Now if I can just find the recipe for Don's favorite dessert that we have offered to bring many times. (Prune cake w/Pink Kaopectate icing.
