6 hours to go 100 miles

Went on 80 to San Marcus big wreck just before I 35 resulting in a parking lot

Turned around and came back to Toll 130 and just past Lockart and got into another parking lot. 18 wheeler had run off the road and caught wheels in soft mud and flipped over back onto highway blocking one lane of 130. Back op for at least 30 miles.

Fried my clutch in the stop and go traffic (mostly stop) but got it to the house with the throwout bearing just screaming.

Stopped in at the office before we left and they said they could not give us a refund without owners permission and he was too busy to talk to us. Offered us 2 free nights in the future.

I wonder if all they are going to do is offer "free" (we already paid for them) nights? It will be interesting to see how they handle it.

Well, with any luck at all, the fire ants will be washed away and drown. I have bites on both arms, getting blocks out from under MH. (good that I'm not bothered by them, allergy wise!)

I have filed a dispute on the charge with my credit card company. My charge for the deposit was on the current bill that I had not yet paid.

Ron,
Assume you will also put a "review" in RV Park Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks to let others know what kind of operation they would be dealing with if they made a resv...

One attendee got in touch with the rv park requesting a refund on their deposit charges to their credit card.

The park responded that they were in "recovery mode" from the damages done to the park and the refund requests would be handled as soon as possible.

Please give them some time to get back up and running to see how they are going to handle the refunds.

Sandy

Come on people, give the park a chance to get set up again, I don't think any of us know the kind of damage they incurred. Check you bank card statements, if the charge shows up call the park. You can also contact your card holder and explain the situtation and put the charge on hold.

At least they had the courtesy to let us know to evacuate, I don't know how their damage was but Pecan Grove just up the road was flooded again really bad.
