Sandy, just to add more on the site rates, we are seeing increases all over the country as we travel. The parks are staying full and they can get more. It is just the cost of living.

That is indeed true, Ken. The sad truth is ...rally groups are not needed as they once were. A park can fill up every site on a weekend and they make the same $ or more.

Thanks for the info Sandy, I did re-consider my rant and made the reservation

I just was floored initially by the rate of increase, but they were very low rate before and as you said, lots of new improvements, new owners and it is a pull through site, so I decided to get over myself....LOL

Will see y'all there!!!

I left the post up even though you requested it to be removed because there were others who questioned the rates as well. Once explained the "why" of something, its easier for us to accept. Believe me, we are all governed by the same criteria (time , distance & money) when attending rallies!!

Will see you there!!

Rally Rates

Hi everyone, we are newbie's and a little confused on the rate of this rally. According to what Lincolnboy2 posted the park charges 45.00 a night and then the Rally charges 40.00 a night. No one has corrected his comment. I'm thinking it has to be wrong. Please, explain to me.

MiBeck….

RV parks normally charge a $$ site fee per night, however when an RV club comes in for a rally that has been booked, we are given a "rally rate".

This park normally charges $45 per night for a back in site. With the rally rate discount, your night's site fee would be $40 per night.

Hope this answers your question!
