The highlight of the weekend was the winning of the grand prize Easter basket by Ron and Ellen Norton at dinner on Saturday. The basket had all kinds of goodies in it, cheese, crackers, wine, etc. and also came with a BIG Easter Bunny.
......................but the big prize was INSIDE the bunny - when they unzipped the bunny, Dunkette peeked her head out.
SHAZAAM !!!!!!!!!!
DUNKETTE NOW HAD NEW PARENTS !!!!
HOOOOOORAAAY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We all know that the Nortons will be great parents and Dunkette will have many more new adventures.
Stay tuned for new posts and pictures..............................

Can you post their words when they saw "Baby?"
No! Never mind. Most likely not post-able.

It is what it is, and then it is what you make of it.
Well Baby Dunkette made it to her new home. Long night last night getting back into the routine of having a little one around. Ellen and I rasied 2 kids, had one out of the house and the other one about ready to leave when we were presented with the opportunity to adopt Michael. And we started all over again. Now just when we almost have Michael out of the house, we have to start over again.
I guess we will never be get to be empty nesters. Got home and told Michael he had a new little sister and he was less than thrilled - "You have to be kidding!" "Your joking, please say your joking?"
Baby Dunkette is all snug in her bed in her new room. She seems not to miss her old foster parents. Makes you wonder about her prior treatment. But, she is healthy and a happy girl.

Michael needs to look on the bright side. He can invite the "girls" over to baby sit.
With mom and dad's supervision of course.

Poor Baby Dunkette, so happy she has found her newest foster home. No posts on this thread about her well being since 5-2011. She must have been lost in THE SYSTEM. So happy she will have a better life now here in Bandera TX. First big event coming up will be COWBOY MARDIS GRAS!! We had a great conversation about it last night around the fire and she got so excited she pee peed all over herself. Her daddy quickly took her inside and changed her and put her to bed in her new bedroom.
