My Sister Nelda

Just wanted to let the Boomer family know that my sister Nelda passed away this afternoon. She attended quite a few rallies with us and I know many of you remember her.

We were looking forward to celebrating her 91st birthday next month but she started going downhill last week and they took her to the hospital last night.

She loved the boomers and always enjoyed her time at the rallies with us.

Condolences.

My mom was 2 weeks shy of her 91st birthday when she passed away last year. Looking back, I am thankful she passed away just as that virus thing (did it even have a name back then?) was starting to hit. She did not have to suffer through that.

It is wonderful that Nelda was able to still enjoy life, my mom's mind was still with us, but her body was flat wore out for the last couple of years. Guess raising us 5 kids was a bit of a chore.

Don & Pat,

Sending our deepest condolences on the loss of your dear sister Nelda.I know she was very close to you and Pat.

It was always so great to see her at the rallies playing games, chatting or listening to some of the bands that played, she enjoyed music! Nelda was genuinely a caring and loving person with a heart of gold. She will be missed.

You and the family are in our prayers.
