Rally locations...Choctaw KOA at Durant, OK

I know it is a long way up here, but this KOA is a premier spot. The park is big, well laid out concrete sites, all pull-thrus, picnic tables, 2 dog yards and well manicured. In addition a big casino and plenty of places to EAT. In the past Don has ventured up over the border into Oklahoma.

I am not sure of the rally rate or rally hall usage, but the rally room is big and really nice. Right now the Red River Rovers from FMCA are here.

Might be a good spot to look into for a nice long rally and to venture out farther.

We have attended several rallies there with the Heartland group. It is everything you say.

Totally agree with your assessment of the park. Really first rate, but I hope you like trains. The one time we stayed there got very little sleep the entire weekend. Train horns blowing all night long. Sounds like maybe something has changed. Hope so because that is a beautiful park.

Tedo, are you thinking about the same KOA? We were there 2 nights and never heard a trail. The train tracks are quiet a distance from the campground.
