Texas Boomers 2020 Rally Schedule
Celebrating Our 20th Year of Fun and Friendship

This schedule is published for planning purposes and is subject to change
due to any unforeseen circumstances.

Sign up for the rallies will be post here on irv2 by the rally host's
six weeks to a month before the start date of the rally.

The only way to insure that you have a spot is to reply to the sign up post on irv2.
Emails, texts, or phone calls to sign up will be honored if possible but will not guarantee you a site.

Location Change for the 2020 Rally Schedule

Miller Creek RV Park in Johnson City has informed us that
effective the 1st of the year, they will no longer be available for rallies.

Therefore we have had to move the 4th of July Flamingle to
Texan RV Park in Athens Texas.

So sad to see Miller Creek added to the growing number of parks not accepting rallies.

Paul called me before he sent out the email announcement.

He has a growing demand for folks wanting to reside in the park on a long term basis which gives him a steady income and just can't turn those requests away to hold our rally reservation.

If this trend continues with other parks, we may have to look at going to State and Federal public parks in the future.

And then you have to issue of limited recreation halls or shelters and having to rent it as well. Plus having to book a year out and some places are limited to 90 or 180 days in advance.

In our travels across the country, we are finding it harder and harder to get weekly or monthly sites unless you plan at least 6 months out. And forget the weekends in public campgrounds.

The 20th Anniversary Rally in Kerrville has NOT been cancelled but the dates changed to Oct 29 - Nov 1.

The Halloween Rally in Perrin has been cancelled.
