Rally Sign Up

The established procedure for signing up for a Texas Boomers rally is

After the announcement is poster here on irv2, then you call the park and make you reservation.

I talked to Lake Livingston KOA today and discovered that 18 rigs have already made reservations and the announcement for the Oct rally has not been posted yet.

We make a group reservation in advance with the parks to guarantee a rally rate discount. Anyone making a reservation prior to the announcement is not eligible for that rate and cannot be counted as part of the Boomers Rally. Also if the rally is cancelled for any reason you could lose your deposit.

I have worked with the past this time to let the Oct rally stand as is but in the future, please do not make your reservation for a rally until the announcement has been posted.

Don, you probably need to post this over on the FaceBook page as well.

Just a point of clarification. I appreciate Ken's suggestion to post this info on facebook.
I have asked Ron Norton to provide a link to this post on the Texas Boomers Facebook page.

As Sandy has stated in the past, facebook is an informational source only and may contain information that is factual or totally false.

The only official source of information concerning the Boomers can only be found here on irv2 and on the Texas Boomers website and forum.

Hi Don, so does this mean most all the sites are already taken for the October rally?

I am one of the guilty one's. Consider me severely chastised and it won't happen again.

Understandable Henry - You folks are new to the club and I am sure you did not know the procedure we use to sign up for our rallies. As I recall you signed up for the 4th of July Flamingle via email with me.

My concern is with all those members of club that knew the procedures and did not follow them.
