OK guys and gals. Roxie took over driving someplace after we had our Honorary Texas Boomer meal today at Lambert's, home of the throwin yeast rolls. We got there around 1:30, got seated around 2:30 and ate waaay tooo much. Sound familiar? Found out something I never knew about Judy...she played alot of softball back in her day and dang did it show. She was a catchin them yeast rolls for the people behind us.

We're now in Nebraska in a Wally world parking campground. Drove 531 miles today through Arkansas, Mo and now we're here. Saw a sign for Offut Air force, I hope one of them big ole planes don't come buzzing in during the night.

Oh yeah, its almost too cool to be wearing shorts. Ya'll have agreat rally and think about us up here freezing.

Just read this to Judy and she said in a most sarcastic voice, "yeah, they'll be thinking about us all right".

Judy, would you please use your softball skills to bop Jim up side of his head! It's HOT here!!! Ya'll weren't here so we did talk about you. You missed a couple of GREAT meals. There is a gate to the Dairy Queen next door and several people slipped over there this afternoon. I'm sure it made it to 100 degrees today. Thank goodness for the cool rally hall. I brought my dominoes up hoping to play but I never got a chance. I did play LCR (lost lots of money there), Pegs & Jokers, playing card Bingo, and Skip-Bo (even won the last game).

Mike and Amber have worked very hard to see that everyone has had a good time here. Thanks for all your good work!

Congrats Mike and Amber for a VERY SUCCESSFUL 1st campout!

Ya'll did a superb job - everyone had fun despite the heat and the park is a little jewel!

Games in the rally hall abounded throughout the weekend - tmf and tmfi (see definition below) left many of us ! Oakridge was awesome, but the breakfast and supper was better! The trek across the back lot of the DQ was a required necessity in this heat! It was so much fun!

Looking forward to our next campout and seeing everyone again - be safe until then!

Sandy

PS: TMF and TMFI - too much fun! too much funny information ! Barb Elliotts story of her friend at the beach still makes me chuckle!!!

Jim? Oh Jim? You're sooooooooooooooooooo far away! I can hardly see you, Judy and Roxie!!!! Sounds like ya'll are having fun............oops....you just turned right....where ya headed now? OMG...you're
o u t a s i g h t...............
