Well it is 2020, what to expect.

Yep, it is 2020, so you have to expect the UNEXPECTED.

While running south on the Indian Nation Turnpike in Oklahoma, a truck flipped up some debris that managed to hit the elbow on the sewer outlet. After we got settled, I noticed a small leak in the 3" pipe. Also some gray water leaked from the belly pan weep hole when the gray valve was open.

Since my encounter with a large dog, I am still walking with a cane and have trouble getting up and down. Had to hire a mobile mechanic to work on the problem. After dropping the whole tank belly pan, he found the "Leaks". Luckily the tanks are not leaking, but the black ABS pipe had broken or cracked at several locations. Rather than patch work, I told him to replace both valves and repipe the whole thing. The parts were ordered Friday and he picks them up Monday and hopefully finishes on Tuesday and closes up the belly. Total damages about $750.00.

The summer started with a $2600 ACL surgery and 12 week recover for the dog in Tulsa. After leaving Tulsa we went to Chanute to get the vibrating A/C units fixed. Left Chanute and in Okmulgee, OK, noticed the right front tire on the trailer chewed up. Found an RV park while I assessed the damaged and looked where to get the Mor/Ryde realigned. Our choice was Fort Worth area.

I took our dog our for her walk and a large boxer dog came charging after my smaller just repaired dog. In trying to keep them apart, I I was knocked down on the sharp rocks in the site. I landed on my left should, hip, arm and wrist. Trip to the emergency room and luckily nothing broken and stiches in the elbow. Next morning I could barely move and back to the ER. Got a morphine shot and about 20 minute later, I remembered that morphine makes me sicker than a dog. Back at the trailer, it took me 40 minutes to shuffle from the truck to the trailer. There was no way we could travel until I go better. There weeks later we hooked up and back to Chanute. The A/C was rattling again. Merle Kelly Ford in Chanute has a truck and trailer shop that has the equipment to realign the Mor/Ryde IS axles and is cheaper than the place in Fort Worth. I got the trailer back into Kansas RV and Daryl got the A/C finally fixed and no additional charge.

Then we had the sewer pipe incident. Currently in Livingston, TX and will move to Tomball, TX in about 3 weeks.

Wonder what else can happen in 2020?

Ken

Wow... you certainly have had your share of challenges. If you plan to head way north, not that you will at this time of year, but the Cdn. border is still closed. Some like to hunt or ice fish here, but not this year... I hope you recover soon and have much better luck in 2021.

CARS, we lived north of Toronto, Canada for almost 2 years. I do not do cold any more so we will not be going north in the winter. My body and truck have issues, below about 50 degF.

Well, I could throw out a couple of guesses but probably would get thrown off the forum so hopefully in the next two months you will get healed up and be good to go for 2021. I think you have used up all your bad luck for quite a while. (fingers crossed)

Beginning to feel like the old adage....if it weren't for bad luck, I'd have no luck at all.
