Hi, We are new to this forum and happy to see it is here. After 2 tents, 3 pop-ups, 2 TTs and 1 5th wheel, we are now back to tent camping. We forgot that a few years have gone by since we used to sleep on the ground...so even tho we have our cots...tent camping is for those with younger bones!!! So, we are now looking forward to becoming pop-up owners once again. We really enjoyed the 3 we had.

Hey Tom, Howdy and welcome to IRV2
We just sold our pop- up and have a toy hauler so we can take our Goldwing. We know what you mean about young bones on the ground. Our bed was still a bit hard to sleep on and we got some air mattresses that made the pop up beds more comfy. Check out the Southwest Region for get together, there are a few of us that post when we are going out and anyone is welcome.
Again welcome aboard and we look forward to hearing what you get.

Hi Fran and Tom, Welcome to iRV2!
We too have come full circle--tent, pop up, travel trailer, motor home. Then we started all over again--tent, pop up, and we're now looking for our next travel trailer. So, welcome to the club....

Were in a slooow upgrade mode. With the emphasis on SLOW. Tenting for 12 years, pop-up for 6 years, hybrid the last 2. I do see us some where down the line going bigger. But when you get so big you really have to watch which sites you are able to get into. Between the pop-up and the hybrid I'm able to get into the same sites, which happen to be many state parks. If I was in the market for a new rig today I would lean towards a 32'-34' 5-er. But with that choice you have to buy a $$$ tow vehicle that will do the job, especially with the camping we do in the state parks of western PA. in the hills. Still no matter where we go from here I look forward every year to camping. Last year we camped 57 nights and so far this were at about 50. Even now were starting to plan next year.
Jim.....
