My neighbors have a 16’ Rockwood A Frame hard sided tilt up.
They love it. Lots of features including a/c, heat pump, furnace, three way refer, dual batteries and propane tanks, outside shower, two beds.
Hardsides allow you access into parks that don’t allow tent trailers.
Downside, no inside bathroom. All the roof mounted skylights leaked because they never used sealant when they were installed, except for the perimeter edges. Easy fix though.

You know you are 'camping' and that is the idea. The State Parks are great for hiking and fishing etc. They also have Public bathrooms and shower houses. You know you are camping. I miss that when I had a big 5th wheel that was not like 'camping'.

A trailer

I have a 21' Rockwood high wall A style with dormer. Bought it new in 2018. Bought it to use for local camping of 2-3 day trips. Have recently purchased a 5th wheel for longer adventures.so will be putting the Rockwood up for sale.
