Coachmen vs River Forest

I am trying to decide between a new 2019 Forest River Flagstaff 176LTD or a new 2020 Coachmen Clipper 806XLS. I wanted to see if anyone could offer any feedback on either one of these pop up campers that could help me in making in my decision. The cost is not a deciding factor as they are only a few hundred apart.

Both are Forest River brands, so the major differences will be colors. So far Coachman division has npt had a stellar build quality reputation. If I were looking at smaller trailers and if your not in the PNW region I would look at Lance instead.

Also look into Rockwood and Somerset (formerly Coleman).

Actually, neither one. I'd look for something not made by Forest River or Thor.

We have (should say had as we just upgraded) the "Big Brother" to the 176LTD, the 206LTD. Have had no issues in 3 years of ownership. Build quality about what you would expect from the bargain end of the line. That said, nothing has fallen off or failed. Repack bearings once a year. Keep lift system lubed. All should be well for you.
