Thanks for all your help. I think I have decided to take your advice and paint it. Do you have a brand of marine paint to recommend ? (Immron, Awlgrip, etc.) Also should I use the epoxy primer first or just paint. I will clean and lightly sand prior.

ok, I have decide to paint and have bought the supplies. Started the prep and cleaning this afternoon. I am going with Rustoleum Topside paint. A friend of mine use it on his sailboat and it looked pretty good. I am hopefully going to get it done this week. I will post before , during and after pics. Thanks for your help

After first coat. Looks AWESOME. I can honestly say that the top looks new and matches the sides very well. Will post more pics after the final coat.

Thanks for the help Midniteoyl. I am very glad I took your advice. Sorry for second guessing you. It really turned great. Even better than I was hoping

The photos look great. Nice job. I am wanting to do the same to my Dutchmen pup. I'm wondering how much of the topside paint to purchase. Did you roll it, bursh it, or spray it on?

familyman, I bought topside paint from lowes, $11.00 a quart. WAY cheaper than some other brands from the marine places. So far it still looks as good as the day I did it. You will need 2 quarts. I used about 1 1/2 quarts. I did 2 coats. You will need sand paper etc. Go by the directions on the can. I brushed with a GOOD brush around the perimeter of the roof and arouond the A/C and then rolled the rest. It turned out VERY nice I think. Looks original. The paint is "self leveling" so you can't tell the difference between where u brush and roll.
