Lift cable broke. Need Help......

My wife and I bought an older model (probably early 80's) Dutchmen popup that has the slide out beds on both ends. My problem is the cable is broke and I have no idea how to fix it. I'm sure its a Goshen 1473 series crank lift system. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It should take only an hour to fix it. Call Goshen. They sell the cable direct and it's very simple to replace.

Thanks so much for that information. That's a big help. I have one more problem you might be able to help me with. My winch isn't on the tongue like the diagrams I've seen. There is a place to the right of the tongue where you insert turning handle and my winch is consealed. How would I go about putting my new cable on the winch? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is the winch under a cover? Just remove the cover.

Does it look like this?
