Many years ago, my family camped using an unusual type of pop-up trailer. Instead of beds that come out of both ends of the trailer, it had a double-bed that came out of the side opposite the door and a dinette that converted into a second bed. The ends were canvas-sided. Has anyone out there ever seen one of these unique pop-ups? I am trying to see if they still are manufactured, or even exist anymore.

Thanks

I have seen a pop-up trailer that came out on only one side. I do not remember the floor plan inside or exactly how it worked. The lady who had it used it only a couple of times with our group then traded it in for something larger.

This is my 1987 Coleman Colorado (pardon the condition, I bought it 4days ago and was driving it home when I took these. Should clean up well though):

I used to have an Jayco 804 I think it was, I was single at the time and it only slid out on one end. The other end was the dinette with a huge window all around the dinette. My parents used to have one that popped up on one end, it was a hard top with a big piano hinge across the front with a bed that came out the back, do not remember the brand of it though.

We just bought a 1979 Bethany today that the bed looks to slide out opposite side of the door. We only popped up the front side not the entire thing and bought it. Got it home and the back end will not stay up, one of the supports is broken. We are looking for any economical ways to fix this. Any ideas would be great.
