I recently purchased a 1988 TXL Palamino camper outfitted with the EZ lift system. I brought it home and set it up in the drive. When I went to close it, one side of the top was in to far to close properly. I would appreciate any suggestions or ideas on how to close it correctly.
Thank you

Howdy and Welcome to iRV2.com.

I am not sure what type of lift system you have. We have had a manual lift system on our first pop up and the the 99 Bayside was a crank. both require the frame be level when going up or down. This could be a problem. You level the camper but don't put the stabilizers down until its up and then get them up before bringing down the top to releive any pressure from the top going up or down. Let us know what type of system you have.

Palamino calls it a EZ lift, there are arms on the outside of the camper that go underneath and are attached to springs. It is a hardsided pop up.
Thanks for your help

Our first pop up was a assisted lift system sounds like your easy lift system. Again be sure the base of the camper is level front to back and left to right. You will most likely need help be very careful touching the bar near where it bends. With one of you loweering it like it should be the other needs to guide the arm to close and maybe see why it isnt working right. Maybe contact a deaer and ask their advice if it wont go easy because you don't want to break it.
