Which battery for pop up

I have a Jayco Sports 10sd. What size is best battery. It has the three way fridge, nothing else runs off the battery but lights.

Recommendations?

Have you measured the space for the battery? I'd install the largest with the highest capacity that would fit, especially if you only have one battery. Also, what charges the battery? That might need to be considered.

Furnace? Fridge on propane? How long do you plan to camp? How are you recharging your battery?

If all you are using are lights any battery should do if it's a weekend trip. For a week you would probably want at least 60AHr batteries. If you plan on using a furnace then you will need at least 2 high AHr batteries for the weekend. More if you are going for a week. All this is assuming you aren't charging your batteries. If you have a generator or solar setup you can get away with less batteries.

My pup could drain 2 x 125 AHr batteries to 40% using the furnace in one night. I installed a convection heater and took care of that problem. I also installed a solar setup. 200W can fully charge those batteries in about 4 hours from 40%. I also have an inverter generator as a backup but it only really gets used for the microwave or the A/C which we haven't used yet where we like to boondock.

thanks

@BFlinn181 and @vanion2
Thank you for your input. Mostly we are going to be at places with AC and hookups. Who knows in future. Needed a battery now for the powered wheel to move the RV into place. Bought an 100ah deep cycle at walmart because i needed one now.

Had our first successful camp out with some issues. Good to have people on forums to ask questions.
