Donít know about yours but mine uses it for brakes, suspension.

Depending on your rig, it can be used for braking, suspension, leveling and airing up tires! Keep her between the ditches!

A few years ago, OK, more than a few years ago, my 1972 Peterbilt used air for the brake systems, air horn, drivers seat suspension, passenger power window, windshield wipers, transmission (low-hi range tranny) radiator fan hub, radiator shutters (conversion) 5th wheel slide release, tandem rear differential interlock and I might have missed something!

Having dry compressed air was important.

On my 97 Sahara is also operates the exhaust brake.
