Any recommendations on exterior cleaning and waxing materials?
Does dishwasher soap really work cleaning out the grey water tank?
Thanks!

No Wax!
There are many systems for cleaning and protecting TT exteriors. I tried one. Poliglow worked fine. It has been two years since I applied it and it still makes it easy to clean and remove bug splatter.

It is finicky to clean and apply. Follow directions exactly. There is a removal procedure. I have not needed the removal procedure yet.
Dishwasher soap
I tried many ways to clean black and gray water tanks. I obsessed over perceived maintenance needs. In the end I use a 45 degree transparent elbow connected to waste drain valves. It shows when everything has been flushed and drained.
I use multiple fill and dump for the black tank. I don't worry about the gray tank, just drain it.
Forget:
Ice cubes in black tank
Geo method
Commercial pucks and liquids
Other special formulas and procedures
For special cleaning, I put just a little "powered water softener" like Arm and Hammer Supper Washing Soda from the grocery store into tank with 5 to 10 gallons of water and drive 100 miles. I then dump when I arrive at destination campground.
Lots of stuck-on stuff flushes from the black tank when I arrive. Nothing of note flushes from the gray tank.
I have had my TT for 4 years. Tank level sensors for black and gray work sometimes. I use the fresh tank level to estimate how much is in gray tank. Black tank has never filled.
Gray tank filled only once. Water backed up into shower. This was not a serious issue to correct. I can now hear when level is getting high.
I wish you good luck and happy trails ahead.
