New to the forums but traveling last 14 years country wide from the Tampa Fl area, usually with an enclosed trailered Harley motorcycle. Yep, we Floridians do vacation elsewhere. No troubles with the Ford V10 or trans, a/c or plumbing. By far the most downtime/expense has been tires. China tires, Goodyear tires & Michelin pilot tires (245/70R19.5) Numerous side of road change outs as well as leakers. I chk pressures (90-100) each morning & keep them covered from sun.
The current set (Michelin) is 20% worn & now 8 years old - so time to change for a 1000 mi trip. Any suggestions?

Welcome from another 2002 Damon owner. Also a fellow Floridian. I ditched the aged out Michelin tires for Toyo and have been very pleased. The Toyos are much less expensive and have been performing great.
Some of the Michelin sizes don't come in Toyo but there are some threads on here that give the nearest Toyo equivalent. I bought M154 tires.
