2002 Monaco Diplomat - No AC or house lights

Came back from an outing and the AC's, the lights in the house, fan vents, won't work. Microwave still appears to have power.

No display on the duo therm Thermostat.

Outlets still have power.

Chassis related lights (map light) seem to work.

No blown fuses, no tripped breakers, inverter breakers are still closed.

Suggestions?

Battery voltage?
You need 12 volts for light, AC because of thermostat. Sounds like house batteries are dead. Microwave is 110. Are you sure salesman switch/ disconnect is on?

The A/C's not working goes hand in hand with the thermostat having no display. If it's like ours, that thermostat itself is powered by its own 12-volt fuse off the house (coach) batteries.

With all the 12-volt house circuits seemingly affected, my first suspicion would be the house battery disconnect switch. When you press the rocker switch, does it make a "thunk" sound at all? If it makes no sound, that relay could be bad, and that would certainly keep your house 12-volt circuits from working.

Disconnect in the battery compartment makes an audible thunk when rotating it from the 'off' to the "on" position. No change in behavior

did you try the battery disconnect switch 'Salesman switch', up by the front door/entrance?

Bingo, my visiting mother hit it thinking it was the light switch.

Thank you for pointing this obvious thing out that I overlooked.

Now I need to figure out why the dometic toilet wiper won't open or close.

And how do you replace the flexible PVC pipe for the kitchen sink?
Special connectors, or sealant between the hard pipe and the flex pipe?

Glad to help post #2, not sure what toilet you have. Shark bites work well for pvc, and flex depending on what size you are talking about.

It is the Flexible PVC pipe for the sink that is on the slide. Drain hose, after the P trap. Flex seal could probably buy me a couple weeks to figure it out.

As far as the toilet, I know it is dometic but I don't know what model as I think it was replaced. I heard these originally came with electric toilets, and I see an electric wire, but this is not. Pedal on R when facing.

There are many threads about replacing the flexible drain line here on IRV2. Lots of different options, depending on your specific coach design and plumbing accessibility. Best to research those threads and then start a new thread in the Monaco's owners section of IRV2 if you have specific questions.
