2003 Gulf Stream Roof
Hello every one, I'm new to the forum. I need to replace the roof on my 2003, 34 Ft., Gulf Stream Elite. The original roof is fiberglass and is severely cracked and torn but has been patched. I am thinking of having the new roof sprayed on using Armour Guard box liner spray. The company that does this says they have done it before , with good success. Does anyone have any experience with spray on replacement roofs and if so, how does it stand up? Any comments and suggestions are welcome. Thanks for allowing me to join this great group!

I don't want to offend owners that have had roofs done. I hope all the spray on roofs last forever or get warranty that is built in the price. Someone already posted of one brand failing and company not standing behind it, because company said it not done properly by a listed / preferred subcontractor. Not sure what happened to the thread or outcome.

IMO, spraying on a coating over a cracked and patched fiberglass roof is a total waste. Get the old material removed, repair any damaged areas, and put on a TPO roof. Doing it right is expensive, but doing it multiple times cheaply is more expensive.

I am scheduled to have my roof replaced by AZRV Roof using Flex Armor. They are in Prescott Arizona. It will be done on January 10, 2022. I'll let you know how it goes afterwards.
