I guess I did miss the inverter. Most definitely your inverter could be bad. If it is indeed an inverter rather than a converter.
An inverter that has let all it's smoke out could be the problem. Try to disconnect the inverter and see if the breaker pops. The bad thing about an inverter is they are factory sealed and the smoke cannot be put back in. Alas you will have to buy a new one that is full of smoke.
Thanks everyone for all your suggestions. Figured it out. Turns out the inverter will give you false results when testing for continuity. Finnally go it out of the system and Identified the wire that has the problem. No just have to figure out how to repair.
