2008 40x clutch fan wire needed. Help

Had a belt come off and tore the clutch fan wire off. I called Freightliner and they said that is is an obsolete part and have no cross number for it. No way that can be true. Anyone know anything on this, where I can get one, or any fix for it? It is a 2008 Discovery 40x, 350 Cummins.

Thanks

You will need to find out what clutch the coach has, Horton, Bendix, etc. After that you may be able to find a cross reference or an aftermarket fit.

And, Welcome to the group!

The response from freightliner is so typical today. If it is over a couple of years old 'tuff luck". What is a person supposed to do? Junk the whole motorhome or whatever for a relatively inexpensive part. It just p*sses me off.

They actually found one in Memphis. I was told it was the last one in the country. He said that you can make your own with the correct plugs if he was not able to get one. I am going to take pictures when I get it so I will have a reference if it happens again. Thanks for the replies.

I just ordered an anti-rotation bracket for my Horton fan.
Belt shredded and broke the bracket
I have Cummins ISC 8.3. 2008
