2008 Fleetwood Excursion 40x Air Conditioning Fan

Good afternoon, woke up this morning to AC #1 (front) unit humming and not producing air. Took off shroud, did basic inspection for obvious signs of damage, wiring issues etc., with nothing out of the ordinary. Was able to spin fan freely. Summoned air to be turned on, unit started to hum with no air being produced, I physically spun the fan shaft and the unit started running and blowing cool air. Worked as usual one additional time, then right back to where I started.

I'm under the assumption I need to replace the fan at this point. Manufactured by Fasco, No. CPN 1468-310. 2 speed.

Question: Has anyone replaced one of these and if so, what unit did you buy?

I appreciate any help, thank you.

Sounds like you may have a bad start Capacitor for your fan. This will cause fan to not start.

Thanks for the info. I purchased a new fan which came with a new capacitor. Does it make sense to change out cap. first?
