2017 Thor Fourwinds Motorhome 24 foot owner

Hi everyone,

I've been living in my motorhome for just over 2 years now, driving back and forth from Calgary to Arizona to Mexico and back, following the heat as best as I can and mostly loving it.
I have done a lot of work and repairs on my motorhome and will continue since having been told that "you will always have something to repair". and it's true.
Currently I am replacing my bathroom faucet which split probably due to not using the water pressure thingy at the last campground.. my fault.
I'm also re-caulking the outside seams.. that's a really big job so I'm doing it a little at a time. since I've just started, I'll get back to you on how it's working out.
The next thing I'm looking into is "insulating the engine" or doghouse as I've learned it's called. Does anyone have any advise or especially videos on how to remove the doghouse and insulate it. Yes, it gets hot and it's noisy.
thanks for this forum and looking forward to connecting with like minded RVer's. Best regards, Diane
