275/70/22.5 tire search

My go-to Toyo tires don't make the size I want to replace the Michelins currently on the coach. So looking for opinions on a few brands that do make my size: Yokohama RY103, Hankook AH37, Sumitomo ST719 and Continental HSR2. For those owners having experience with the above I would appreciate comments as to your opinions. Looking for ride, noise levels and general overall satisfaction. I will not go back with Michelin, that much I know.

Thanks in advance
Ron

I has a set of HSR2's that performed well. A friend swears by his Sumitomos. I seen many favorable reports on the Hankooks too. I don't think you could go wrong on any of those brands.

I put Yokohamas on my Dolphin, and liked them very well. That was a few years ago though. Tire prices looks to have went through the roof.

275/70/22.5 tire search

I had 6 HSR2 sa Continentals installed last week but don’t have enough miles to comment on ride or handling. Got them with the FMCA tire program and saved $$$.
Also added Centramatics on front and rear.Click image for larger version

6 Conti HS2A installed last fall and recently back from 2,000 +/- Mi trip. I put Centramatic balance rings on FR & RR and very please with both.
FMCA Conti program was beneficial and EZ to utilize.
If you do be aware and make sure Conti dealer understands the FMCA price INnludes FET. If any questions FMCA has a contact person well versed in the program and more than happy to talk to tire shops to confirm.
Going from memory but I thing that a I've Contis were $470 including FET... just need to add mounting & sales tax

Ron....
I bought a set of six of the Sumitomo ST719 last August 2020 to replace my 8 y/o Michelin’s. I’m very happy with them, and the pricing- about half the price, out the door. Plus, I believe Sumi has ramped up their domestic plant and the ST719 is now made in USA, at Tonawanda, NY.
I believe the ST719 is a slightly stiffer tire, but I really think they ride smoother and quieter than the former. In Sept thru November last year and now recently this spring I’ve put about 4000 miles on these and I would recommend them heartily.

I bought Sailun brand 275/70R22.5, LR H truck tires in 2017, I'm quite pleased with the ride, road grip and lack of road noise. In 2017 by final bill was $1,380 for 6 tires mounted balanced installed, including all taxes.
Since 2017 Sailun tires have became more well-known and widely sold, any Carlisle dealer should also sell Sailun brand. They are made in VietNam.

X2 on the Firestone FS561.

Very quiet and smooth tire. To few miles to have an opinion on tire life.

OP here. I certainly appreciate everyones response here. I've tentatively decided to try the Yokohamas this time, but haven't had them installed yet. The dealer, Superior Tire in Portland OR, has them in stock with very recent date codes. Price looks like right at $2700 for 6 tires installed out the door.I've talked to a couple folks that had them and were very happy with them and no complaints. The next choices were Hankook and Firestone in that order, with about $250 separating each level up. Continentals would have been $3400 out the door via FMCA. One day next week is install day and then will have a couple trips to decide if my decision was the right one.

Thanks again for answering my questions. Safe travels all.
