I had several people say it was safe. I think they did not want to work on brakes or motor homes in general. Almost everyone says brakes sensors. That must be an easy fix. When a light is on there is a reason and it should be fixed meaning it does not come back on. If I had accepted the first guy reason I could have ended up in a ditch. It took three more shops before they figured it out. I put 1,800 miles on since and getting ready to go the Fla in Jan.
Glade you figured your out

The ONLY negative effect to the ABS light being on is, the anti-lock feature is not working. That means when you feel the brakes lock up you must manually let off pedal pressure to allow the wheels to roll slightly = pump the brake pedal. Otherwise they work normally.

Some decades ago the auto makers petitioned the feds to allow them to either eliminate the ABS system or offer it as an option; as studies have shown the ABS system has done little to reduce traffic accidents, and would reduce the cost of a new vehicle by $600-at that time; it was denied. Since then auto makers have used the ABS system to invent several useful safety features.

Thanks for the heads up, Iím sure your post will help someone. It is always good to here a fix that worked especially when it is something you can perform yourself. In most cases it is recommended that you put dielectric grease on the sensor connections. If you didnít do this it is a good idea.
