AC and Furnace not operational

I have a 2007 Four Winds Chateau. Recent purchase. The Atwood furnace and Duo Therm roof air are not working. No fan on either. I can measure 12v at the furnace. It has the analog Duo-Therm thermostat that controls both units. All fuses and CB's check ok. Logic tells me that since the thermostat appears to be the only thing common to both that it is most likely the cause of my problem. Any advice/help would be appreciated.

The thermostat sends a signal to the furnace and the A/C to operate. If you remove the cover from the thermostat, it should be simple to jumper the 12v in and the furnace or A/C signal wire. This should make the furnace kick on, if everything else is O.K.

Look up your thermostat make/model online and find the manual for it to be sure of the wiring.

Unplug the wire behind the Tstat. looks like an old phone cable. Spray with elect cleaner and plug back in.. Find the reset procedure for your Tstat.Does the Tstat light up at all?

There is no connector at the thermostat, it is connected on a terminal strip. There is no voltage at the thermostat so I need to trace that out. I don't think there are any lights on the thermostat.

Thanks for the help, it turned out to be a wiring problem. The previous owner had the roof repaired and when the RV techs reinstalled the roof air they got some wires crossed. All is good now.
